This is a snap fixing from a Volkswagen badge, this means the badge is simply kept on by pushing small arrow like pieces of plastic which slide in easily one way but then catch, making it difficult to fall off.
The triangular extruded sections would also help keep the badge on. These have double the wall thickness of the snap fixings (2mm and 1mm respectively).
Made of ABS plastic and manufactured in Germany.
